Mr. Roy David Noll, Jr., 88, of Varnville, passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at his residence.
Funeral services will be 1 pm, Thursday, May 12, 2016 at The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Home, Varnville-Hampton Chapel. Interment will follow in Varnville Cemetery.
Born June 7, 1927 in Northumberland, Pennsylvania, he was a son of the late Roy David Noll, Sr. and Gladys Rupley Noll. He was a retired foreman from Westinghouse and served his country in the United States Navy. He loved fishing and shrimping with his son and with his best friend, Fred Mixson. He also loved attending his children and grandchildren’s sporting events.
Surviving are: his wife of almost 56 years, Theresa Vella Noll of Varnville; children, Laura Montgomery and her husband Terry of Lexington and Doug Noll and his wife Brandy of Hampton; grandchildren, Jessica Meetze, David Montgomery, Ryan Noll, Alexis Noll, and Brice Noll; and great grandchildren, Austin Faulkner, Braydon Middleton, Malakai Meetze, McKenzie Meetze, Riley Thames, and Brooke Montgomery.
