Mr. Roy Marvin Boyd, 68, of Faye Lane, Ruffin, entered into rest Saturday evening, March 8, 2014, at the Colleton Medical Center in Walterboro.
The family will receive friends during a time of remembrance beginning at 3 o'clock Tuesday afternoon, March 11, 2014, at The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Chapel, Walterboro.
Born September 13, 1945, a native of Colleton County, South Carolina, he was a son of the late Carroll Boyd and the late Jewel Boyd. He served our country faithfully in the United States Army.
Surviving are: two daughters, Tammy Lynn Bonner of Ruffin and Kim Boyd of Angier, North Carolina; a son, James Polk of Summerville; five grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
