Rose Mary Taylor

Ms. Rose Mary Taylor, 64, of Fairfax, entered into eternal rest at 5:40, Friday morning, August 4, 2023, at University Hospital in Augusta, Georgia.

Born September 4, 1958, in Hampton, she was a daughter of the late Joe Blease Stevens and Corine Dixon Bowers.  She was a former security guard when she lived in California, had been employed at Beaufort Lamp Makers, and for many years was a caregiver to her mother.  She enjoyed watching true-story and horror movies.

Surviving are: her brothers, Michael O’Neal Stevens, Sr. and his wife Marsha Lynn of Brunson, Joseph Anthony Stevens, Sr. and his wife Elaine of Walterboro, and Matthew Mark Stevens of Greenville; sister, Kathy Lynn Ingles of Greenville; as well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews.  She was preceded in death by her brothers, Pete Richard Stevens and Larry Joe Stevens; and sisters, Julie Melissa Stevens, and Marsha Ellen Stevens.

A memorial service will be held at 2 o’clock, Sunday afternoon, August 13, 2023, at Brunson Baptist Church.
