Funeral services will be conducted 11 oclock Saturday morning, September 11, 2010, from The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Chapel, Walterboro with The Reverend John Harbin and The Reverend Wayne Ackerman officiating. Mrs. Clark was born December 6, 1960, in Charleston, South Carolina and was a daughter of Mrs. Leona Harris Branton and the late Julius Branton. Before failing health required her to stop her work that she dearly loved, she was a health care provider having worked many years for the Hetrick Family of Walterboro. She was a member of the Walterboro Church of God where she was active in the church choir and played the tambourine as well as being faithful and dedicated in many aspects of the churchs work. Rose Mary was a blessing to all who knew her. She was one of the kindest, most compassionate, loving, hard working women there was. She always took the time to be sure that each person in her life was loved and cared for. She was a true example of what a Christian, a daughter, a wife, a mother and grandmother, a sister, and a true friend should be. She will be loved and missed by many.
Surviving in addition to her mother of Ravenell are: her husband of thirty-one years, Mr. Charles Michael Clark, Sr., three children, Christina Nicole Smoak and her husband Chris of Walterboro, Charles Michael Bubba Clark, Jr. and his wife Tara of Walterboro, and Matthew Thomas Clark of Walterboro; a brother, Julius Branton, Jr. of Ravenell; and three sisters, Rhonda Gail Clark of Walterboro, Julia Brown of Charleston, and Frances Libby Frasier of Walterboro. There are four grandchildren, Preston Scott Clark, Michael Marrero, Brittany Willis, and Christopher Parker Smoak; as well as a brother-in-law, Allen Clark; and three sisters-in-law, Terry Pattison, Charlene Frazier, and Debbie Miranda that also survive.
