Roscoe S. Fraiser, Sr.

Mr. Roscoe Sonny Fraiser, Sr., age 68, entered into rest Friday evening, April 3, 2015, at his home on Seigler Drive in Walterboro while surrounded by his loving family.
Funeral services will be conducted 1 o’clock Tuesday afternoon, April 7, 2015, from The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Chapel, Walterboro. The Reverend John Harbin officiating. Interment will follow in Glendale Memorial Cemetery, 2210 Mount Carmel Road, Walterboro.
Born July 4, 1946, a native and lifelong resident of Colleton County, he was a son of the late Haskell C. Frasier and the late Katherine New Frasier. He served in the United States Army. Roscoe was thought out his life, a hardworking and honest man. He along with his brother, owned and operated Frasier Logging Company in Walterboro and he was also the owner of Fraiser Trucking Company. He was a well-known handyman and auto-diesel mechanic in the Walterboro area. He loved his family dearly and always provided the very best that he could for them. Another of Roscoe’s passions in life was lawnmowers.
Surviving are: his wife of forty-nine years, Mrs. Jinnie L. Colson Fraiser; three children, Rebecca Canady and her husband Larry of Walterboro, Jeanine Hubbard and her husband Chris of Walterboro, and Roscoe S. “Rocky” Fraiser, Jr. and his wife Amber of Aiken; two brothers, Haskell Frasier, Jr. of Walterboro and Butch Crosby of Aiken; and two sisters, Belinda Hodge of Walterboro and Jeanette Nolind of Ruffin. There are nine grandchildren, Dylan Fraiser, Brandon Fraiser, Breanna Dupree, Shannan Dupree, Christopher Hubbard, Renee Canady, Roscoe Fraiser, III, and Riley Fraiser that also survive. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Tina Fraiser; a grandchild, Larry L. Canady, Jr.; and a sister, Helen Clark.
