Rosa Lee Fowler

Mrs. Rosa Lee Martin Fowler, 81, of Klein Street, Walterboro, entered into eternal rest Monday, December 31, 2012 at Colleton Medical Center. She was the widow of Wilton Roosevelt Fowler.

Funeral services will be held 2 pm, Friday, January 4, 2012 at The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Home, Walterboro Chapel. Interment will follow in Glendale Memorial Cemetery, Walterboro.

Mrs. Fowler was born September 3, 1931 in Colleton County and was a daughter of the late Samuel Martin and Willie Mae Walling Bowers. She was a member of Northside Christian Church and will always be remembered for the love she had for her family.

Surviving are: her children, Edgar Lee Avant and his wife Elizabeth of Walterboro, Kay DeWitt of Walterboro, Chris Fowler and his wife Paige of Mount Pleasant, and Kevin Fowler of Walterboro; brother, Ned Martin of Islandton; sisters, Jeannie Priester of Ehrhardt, Gloria Smith of Ehrhardt, Sandy Cook of Hampton and June Long of Hampton; grandchildren, Shannon DeWitt, Hannah Fowler and McCoy Fowler; and a great grandchild, Canden DeWitt.
