Mr. John Jerome “Ronnie” Smoak, 66, of Walterboro, passed away Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at his residence.
A memorial service will be held at 1 pm Sunday, August 21, 2016 at Grace Advent Christian Church, Mount Carmel Road, Walterboro.
Born May 27, 1950 in Walterboro, he was a son of the late John Turner Smoak and Mildred Barnes Smoak. Ronnie loved riding his bike and dearly loved his cat, “Peeps”. He never met a stranger and had been clean and sober for the last five years.
Surviving are: his sister, Barbara Cook of Walterboro; brother, James Allen Smoak of Walterboro; a beloved uncle, James Barnes of Lodge; niece, Tonya Hill; nephew, Nicholas J. Smoak; and many cousins.
