Ronnie Long

Mr. Ronnie Edward Long, 60, of Nixville, died Sunday, January 23, 2011 at his residence.



Funeral services will be held 3 pm, Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at Nixville Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.



Mr. Long was born November 18, 1950 in Hampton and was a son of the late Francis Ray Long, Sr. and Nellie Ginn Long. He was a truck driver and farmer. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. He will be remembered for the love he had for his family and for all those he loved and considered his family.



Surviving are: his wife, Dorothy Prince Long; daughters, Tina Long of Hampton, Rhonda Long of Varnville and Miranda Schaffer of Allendale; sister, Peggy Long of Fairfax; 9 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
