Mr. Ronald Clarence Kinard, known by many as “Ronnie”, age 71, of Walterboro, entered into rest Monday afternoon, March 7, 2022, at the Colleton Medical Center in Walterboro.
Born September 1, 1950, in Walterboro, South Carolina, he was a son of the late Clarence K. Kinard and the late Janie Marie Priester Kinard. He worked as a Boilermaker and was also in earlier years of his life a tree surgeon. He loved the outdoors and devoted his life to hard work.
Surviving are: four daughters, Sheila Kinard Brand (J.R.) of Islandton, Angie Freeman (Ralph) of Islandton, Rhonda Mills (Randy) of Islandton, and Jillian Kinard Cox (John) of Ruffin; a son, Ronald Matthew Kinard of Moncks Corner; a brother, Gerald Kinard (Shirley) of Walterboro; a sister, Sally Kinard Fender (McCray) of Walterboro; ten grandchildren, Katelyn Fourie, Julia Brand, Keith Freeman, Kaley Mills, Randy Mills, III, Grayson Mills, Jacob Cox, Jenna Cox, McKayla Tisdale, and Rylin Kinard; and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Louise Caughman and Geraldine Parnell.
Funeral services will be conducted 2 o’clock Friday afternoon, March 11, 2022, from the graveside in Glendale Memorial Cemetery, 2210 Mount Carmel Road, Walterboro.
