Ronnie Roach

Mr. Ronald Edmond Roach, Sr., known by all as “Ronnie”, age 65, of Walterboro, entered into rest Sunday morning, September 13, 2026, at the Colleton Medical Center in Walterboro.

Born February 18, 1961, in Savannah, Georgia, he was a son of the late Emory C. Roach and the late Ruby Ann Gracen Roach. Ronnie was a mechanic and worked several years alongside his late father at Roach’s Garage in Pooler, Georgia. He will always be remembered for his love of fishing, old westerns, working on cars, and being outdoors.

Surviving are: four children, Ronnie Roach (Amanda), Christine Avery (John), Cameron Roach, and Kalen Roach (Brianna); two brothers, Emory Roach (Susan) and Donnie Roach (Sherry); three sisters, Jean Lockhart (Larry), Joan Rewis (Curtis), and Joyce Cobb (Jimmy); eleven grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, James Roach; and his children’s mother, Mary Lee Roach.

Plans for his memorial service are incomplete at this time and will be announced at a later date.
