Ronald Osborne Walling

Ronald Osborne Walling, 68, of Ehrhardt, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, March 29, 2023, at his residence.

Ronald was born August 11, 1954, in Orangeburg, South Carolina.  He was a son to the late Jack Gordon Walling and the late Lulu Belle Brabham Walling.

Ronnie simply loved life, and was known to be a free spirited man; who was always down to enjoy a good time.  He often cherished traveling and vacationing in the mountains with his family.  Ronnie loved spending time with his three children and grandchildren.  Every year he enjoyed passionately working in his garden, planting plants around the yard and landscaping.  Above all, family was important and meant more than the world to him.

He is survived by: his children, Jeremy Walling (Paige) of Beaufort, David Walling (Stacie) of Holly Hill and Cassie Stivender (Chris) of Ehrhardt; and his grandchildren, Gracie Walling, Andrew Crump (Kadi), Davin Walling, Daley Rae Walling, Sydney Stivender, Ally Stivender, Dallas Stivender, and Lane Stivender.  He is also survived by: a brother, Gordon Walling; and a sister, Debra Heath.

A memorial service will be held 11 o’clock, Tuesday morning, April 4, 2023, at Ehrhardt Southern Methodist Church, 13667 Broxton Bridge Road, Ehrhardt.  Inurnment  will follow in the Smith Cemetery, located on the grounds of McMillan Farms.  The family wishes to visit with family and friends following the committal graveside service.
