Mr. Ronald “Ron” Andrew Myers, 84, of Walterboro, entered into rest Sunday, September 13, 2020 at the Veteran’s Victory House in Walterboro.

Born August 6, 1936 in Terra Haute, Indiana, he was a son of the late John William Myers and Mary Elizabeth Merritt Myers.  He served his country first in the United States Marine Corp and then in the United States Coast Guard.  He enjoyed commercial crabbing and fishing and also enjoyed making wine.  He was a great gardener and loved spending time in his garden.  He was a member of the mason lodge and the Omar Shrine Temple.  He was a ham radio operator with the handle KE4RVE the Ram.

Surviving are: his sons, Shawn Andrew Myers, Sr. and his wife Michelle of Walterboro, Ronald Andrew Myers, Jr. of Walterboro, and Lonnie Lee Myers and his wife Heather of Florida; sister, Bobbie Myers Bennett; 9 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by a son John Eric Myers.
