Ronald "Ronnie" Kay Koon

Mr. Ronald "Ronnie" Kay Koon, 69, of Varnville, passed away Tuesday night, November 24, 2020 at Pruitt Heath of Orangeburg.  Born on July 9, 1951, he was a son to the late Samuel J. Koon and the late Mrs. Marylyn Stanley Koon.

Mr. Koon worked in the paper industry at International Paper until his retirement.  Ronnie, as many knew him as was described and known as a person who liked to do things his way.  He was a spur of the moment kind of man, as long as it was done his way.

He is survived by, his sons Ronald Timothy Koon (Lisa) of Grays, Rodney Kay Koon (Jamey) of Cordova and Aaron Koon of Varnvile; a daughter, Nicole Sauls (Chad) of Varnville; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; he is also survived by a sister, Sherryl Conley of Beaufort.  In addition to his parents his is preceded in death by a brother, Frankie Koon.
