Ronald Edward Demers, Sr.

Mr. Ronald Edward Demers, 68, of Varnville, entered into rest Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at his residence.

Born October 26, 1952 in Rutland, Vermont, he was a son of the late Amos Eloise Demers and Dorothy Viola O’Brien.  He served in the Army National Guard and was a retired general contractor. He loved the outdoors, hunting, and loved his cats.  He also enjoyed woodworking and building things.

Surviving are: his children, Ronald Demers II (Diane) of Varnville and Cheri Booth (Tom) of Minnesota; and grandchildren, Ronald Demers III, Hunter Demers, Caitlin Demers, Lily Booth, and Claire Booth.
