Ronald Peter Caliguari, 80, of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, wrapped up his final round on October 26, 2025, after living a life defined by laughter, music, and the art of the deal.
Born on January 19, 1945, Ron proudly served in the U.S. Air Force before discovering his true calling — the furniture industry. A road man to the core, Ron spent his life behind the wheel, chasing sales, stories, and the next great fairway. He was a born salesman: quick with a line, sharp with a comeback, and absolutely unstoppable when there was a deal to be made.
Ron lived life on his own terms — sometimes smooth, sometimes rough around the edges, but always authentically him. He loved golf, good music, and a cold Grey Goose. He didn’t collect lifelong friendships so much as colorful characters, and he left an impression everywhere he went — whether people were ready for it or not.
He is survived by his son Keith, daughter Jamie, daughter-in-law Jane, granddaughter Gracie Carol, and brothers Peter and Leonard. They’ll remember him for his drive, his independence, and his unmatched ability to turn any situation into a story worth telling.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Lewy Body Dementia research (@ lbda.org/donate), to help find answers and support for families living with this difficult disease. And if you’d rather honor him another way — pour a Grey Goose, hit one straight down the fairway, and love the ones you're with. Ron would’ve wanted that more than anything.
