Romolo J. Calcagni

Romolo James Calcagni, 79, of Walterboro, South Carolina, passed away Friday, November 8 2019, at the Veterans Victory House in Walterboro.

Born May 7th, 1940 in Port Chester, New York, he was the son of the late Ernest James and Frances Rose Scelia Calcagni.

Mr. Calcagni was a United States Marine who gave a great amount of pride for this country and what it stands for.   He was ranked Private in his division.  He later worked as a self employed contractor after his time in the military.

He leaves behind a son, Ernest James Calcagni, II of New York; a sister, Mary H. Leary of Florida; and many loving cousins, nephews, and extended family, who will all miss him dearly.  He was predeceased by a beloved son, Romolo James Calcagni, Jr.
