Rodney Zeigler

Mr. Rodney Dwayne Zeigler, age 55, of Walterboro, entered into rest Sunday, February 21, 2021.

Born April 15, 1965, in Walterboro, he was a son of Preston Brooks Zeigler and the late Diane Jones Bell.  Rodney worked most of his life in construction and was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church No. 1 in Walterboro.   He was an avid Gamecock fan and will always be remembered for the special love and joy that his grandchildren brought into his life.

He is survived by his father, Preston Brooks Zeigler:  his son, Shane Keith Zeigler of Walterboro; two grandsons, Preston Lehe Zeigler and Rowen Keith Zeigler; Shane’s mother, Arretha Barwick Zeigler of Walterboro; a brother, Preston “Brookie” Zeigler and his wife Lisa of Walterboro; and a nephew, Trea Zeigler.

A memorial service will be conducted 2 o’clock Friday afternoon, February 26, 2021 from The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Chapel, Walterboro.  The family will receive friends following the funeral ceremony until 4 o’clock that afternoon.
