Robin Cottingham

Mrs. Robin Renea Elsey Cottingham, 55, of Round O, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, May 6, 2020.  She was the wife of the late Gary Dean Cottingham.

Born March 11, 1965 in Charleston, she was a daughter of Robert Russell Elsey, Sr. and the late Carolyn Jones Elsey.  She was a member of Maple Cane Baptist Church and also attended Miles Road Baptist Church in Summerville with her daughter.  She enjoyed coloring and drawing, and watching Law and Order and horror films.  Robin had a heart for people and loved her family dearly, especially her grandchildren who called her “MiMi”.

Surviving are: her father, R. Russell Esley, Sr. and his wife Norma; children, John William Shockley, III, Amber Leigh Shockley, Hillary Faithe Cottingham, Caitlin Leigh Cottingham, and Rebecca Ann Stone; brother, Robert Russell Elsey, Jr. and his wife Renee; 8 grandchildren, Kyle Stone, Bridgette Stone, Damon Hilburn, Brianna Hilburn, Kyleigh Shockley, Aiden Noah Shockley, Aurora Jean Shockley, and Avery Stone; niece, Julia Lacey Cottingham; and nephews, David Russell Cottingham and Nicholas Elsey.
