Robert Edward Palmer

Mr. Robert Edward Palmer, 80, of Walterboro, entered into eternal rest Sunday morning, May 22, 2022, at Colleton Medical Center.

Born February 27, 1942, in Boonton, New Jersey, he was a son of the late Howard Joseph Palmer and Bertha Kemmerer Palmer.  He truly loved his country and was proud to serve in the United States Navy.  He had a big heart and was loved by everyone who knew him.

Surviving are: his children, Tamaira Lynn Cordell (Jesse) of Walterboro, Ralph Palmer (Sharon) of Virginia Beach, Virginia, and Richard Allen Palmer of Port Richie, Florida; brother, Alvin Palmer; grandchildren, Melissa Castillo, Melanie Palmer, Justin Palmer, Jeffrey Palmer, Kelly Becker, and Arnie Clewel.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn Kay Palmer; a daughter, Lisa Clewel; brother, Howard Palmer, Jr.; and a sister, Sharon Palmer Hottenstein.
