Robert Lehew
April 6, 1935 — March 31, 2017
Mr. Robert Lehew, 81, of Seabrook, passed away Friday, March 31, 2017 at Beaufort Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 4 pm, Monday, April 3, 2017 at The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Home, Varnville-Hampton Chapel. Interment will follow in Hampton Cemetery.
Born April 6, 1935 in West Virginia, he was a son of the late Robert Lehew and Clarice Robinson Lehew. He served his country in the United States Navy and retired from nuclear waste management. He was a Hamm radio operator. He enjoyed working with computers and especially loved sitting and watching the tide come in and go out.
Surviving are: his wife, Dorothy Ayer Lehew of Seabrook; children, Karl Mason, James Mason, Brad Mason, Lora Gabelein, Robert Lehew, Jr., Sheree Pritchett, and Tanya McAlhaney; sister, Betty Suter; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Lehew; and a sister, Joanne Hunt.
