Mr. Robert Manning R.B. Brabham, 66, of Carver Road, Olar, died Saturday, February 5, 2011 at his residence.
Funeral services will be held 2 oclock, Wednesday, February 9, 2011 at The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Home, Ehrhardt-Bamberg Chapel. Interment will follow in the Kearse-Brabham Cemetery.
R.B. was born September 25, 1944 in Bamberg County and was a son of the late Lewis Osborne Brabham, Sr. and Marie Smoak Brabham. He was an electrician and a farmer and a member of Mizpah United Methodist Church. He was a country boy who loved hunting, fishing and cooking for his family and friends.
Surviving are: his wife, Nancy Dunlap Brabham; children, Karissa Lynn Gossman of Jacksonville, Florida and Paula Louise Clemmons and Robin Michele Killingsworth, both of Los Alamos, New Mexico; grandchildren, Krystle Joyce Creel, Joseph Andrew Bishop, Jerin Dwayne Killingsworth, Tommy Lee Graham, Kasey Bradford Killingsworth and Tristin Graham; great grandchildren, Makayla Jade Creel, Haley Nicole Creel and Akaiya Grace Creel; step-children, Michael Hudson of Lancaster and Tracy Strickland and Curt Hudson, both of Sumter; 7 step grandchildren; sisters, Lula Bell Walling of Ehrhardt and Ann Sandifer of Barnwell; and brother, Glen Brabham of Olar. He was preceded in death by two brothers, L.O. Brabham, Jr. and Roy Brabham.
