Mr. Robert Laurence Boyce, 77, of Cottageville, entered into rest Tuesday afternoon, February 3, 2026, at his residence.

Born January 19, 1949, in Memphis, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Charles Everett Boyce and Mary Louise Hofma Boyce. He served his country as a Sergeant in the United States Army. Robert retired as a manager at Combined Insurance Company and had also worked for the United States Census Bureau. He was a devoted and faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints-Walterboro Branch and also attended White Oak Chapel. Robert was an avid outdoorsman who loved golfing and fishing. He loved God and enjoyed studying his Bible. He was always willing to help anyone who needed him. More than anything, he loved his family and especially loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Surviving are: the love of his life and mother of his children, Terry Black Boyce of Walterboro; his children, Robert Laurence Boyce, Jr. (Kristen) of Houston, Texas, Brandon Corey Boyce (Elizabeth) of Cottageville, Ashley Nichole Boyce of Cottageville, and Adriene Leah Weaver (Roland) of Huntsville, Texas; grandchildren, Andrew Boyce, Jack Boyce, Autumn Boyce, Mackenna Boyce, Korbyn Weaver, Keaton Weaver, Cade Boyce, and Carter Boyce; sisters, Nancy Boyce of Atlanta, Georgia and Jane Moore (Bill) of Asheville, North Carolina; brother, Gary Boyce (Tia) of Atlanta, Georgia; nephews and niece, Thomas Sexton, Travis Sexton, and Alexandra McCollister (Ryan); and many great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Baby Girl Charlotte Boyce.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
