Mr. Robert Lee Baker, 67, of Walterboro Highway, Varnville, entered into eternal rest Sunday, November 18, 2012 at Hampton Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Baker was born November 2, 1945 in Gainesville, Texas and was a son of the late Geneva Woodson Hecht. He was a loving father, brother and uncle, who was known for his sense of humor and for never complaining about anything, but most of all, he was known for his kind and generous heart. He was dearly loved by Chris and Lynn Lee, who always enjoyed having him in their home. Bob was a beautiful person inside and out. He will be dearly missed by his Eleanor who will always keep his wonderful personality in her heart and her mind. I love you Uncle Bob, and will always have you in my mind. Your Eleanor. Bob always had a very open spirit and a very honest personality. Ill miss that being in my life, even though Ill always keep you in my heart. I love you Bob, Nicci. Uncle Bob was a great man to me an my kids. We loved him very much. He will be greatly missed and loved by us. He will always be in our hearts and remembered always. We love you Uncle Bob Amanda.
Surviving are: his faithful companion, Betty Gunnells of Varnville; his children, Bobby and Debbie Baker of Tampa, Florida, and Ronney and Sue Baker of Rochester, New York; brother, Max Lee of Hampton; 6 grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
