Rillie Roberts

Biography

Mrs. Rillie Roberts Roberts, 93, of Lowcountry Highway, Ruffin, entered into eternal rest Monday, October 24, 2011 at her residence. She was the widow of Raymond Eddie Roberts.

Funeral services will be held 3 pm, Friday, October 28, 2011 at Shiloh Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Roberts was born December 7, 1917 in Colleton County and was a daughter of the late William Nathan Roberts and Jessie Nettles Roberts. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church, where she was a member of the WMU and the church choir. She loved to work in her yard with her flowers and plants, was an avid bingo player and loved to watch TV. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother.

Surviving are: her daughter, Shirley Nettles and her husband Edward of Walterboro; sister, Cecile Reynolds of Hollywood; grandchildren, Larry Nettles and his wife Cathie of Ruffin and David Nettles of Walterboro; great grandchildren, Joey Nettles of Columbia and Lauren Pappas and her husband Tom of Walterboro; and a great great grandson, Derrick Pappas of Walterboro.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
