Riddick Harold Hiott, Jr.

Mr. Riddick Harold Hiott, Jr., known by all as “Ricky”, 62 of Walterboro, entered into rest Thursday morning, December 18, 2025, at the Colleton Medical Center in Walterboro.

Born August 13, 1963, in Colleton County, he was a son of the late Riddick H. Hiott, Sr. and the late Geraldine Stone Hiott. Ricky was no stranger to hard work and was always on the go and was the owner of Hiott’s Trucking in Walterboro. He loved hunting and fishing as well as the outdoors and will always be remembered for centering his life around his family. He was an active member of Grace Advent Christian Church.

Surviving are: his wife of forty-three years, Mrs. Tammy Faulkenberry Hiott; three children, Riddick H. “Little Ricky” Hiott, III of Walterboro, Jonathan Hiott (Cara) of Walterboro, and Cherie Hiott Crosby (Jessie) of Round O; eight grandchildren, Riddick Hiott, IV, Lillian Crosby, Jessie Crosby, Jr., Roslyn Hiott, Ava Crosby, Madison Hiott, Bryan Ackerman, and Dylan Ackerman; a brother, Roger Hiott (Lynn) of Walterboro; five sisters, Jackie Hiott of Walterboro, Kathy H. London (Bob) of Summerville, Fannie Hiers (Chris) of Walterboro, Pam Bennett (Kelly) of Walterboro, and Brandy Johnson (Vernon) of Walterboro; and his mother-in-law, Verona Faulkenberry (Buster) of Walterboro. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Archie Hiott; a brother, Eric Hiott; and a sister, Sandy Hiott.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 o’clock Monday afternoon, December 22, 2025, from Grace Advent Christian Church, 398 Mount Carmel Road, Walterboro. Interment will follow in Glendale Memorial Cemetery, 2210 Mount Carmel Road, Walterboro.
