Ricky Dale Sineath, age 60, of Islandton, entered into rest Sunday morning, May 23, 2021, at his residence.
Born July 22, 1960, in Colleton County, South Carolina, he was a son of the late Joe Sineath and the late Mamie Jones Sineath. Ricky was a retired salesman for H.T. Hackney in Orangeburg and was a lifelong member of Adnah United Methodist Church in Islandton. He loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed farming and the farm life. He never knew a stranger and he always thought about others and their well-being, being present to help and do for anyone that he could.
Surviving are: his wife, Mrs. Kay Morrell Sineath; a son, Navy Chief Richie Sineath of San Antonio, Texas; a daughter, Lindsey Dale Sineath (Christopher) of Islandton; a grandson, Colby Canaday; and two nieces, Shannon Sineath and Debbie Lyons (Rickey). He was preceded in death by a brother, Joe Glenward Sineath.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be directed in his memory to the following: Saint Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Judes Place, Memphis, Tennessee; or to, any Autism Foundation of your choosing.
The family will be at the home of his daughter, Lindsey Sineath, 1153 Sineath Road, Islandton.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 o’clock Saturday morning, May 29, 2021, from Adnah United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in the churchyard.
