Ricky Padgett

Mr. Richard Alvin Padgett, Sr., know to everyone as “Ricky”, 65, of Walterboro, passed away Sunday, September 9, 2018 at the St. George Health Care Center.

Born October 9, 1952, he was a son of the late Ralph Lafaye Padgett and Minnie Lee Price Padgett.  Ricky will always be remembered as hard working and independent and loved to fish.

Surviving are: his son, Richard Alvin Padgett, Jr. of Walterboro; two grandchildren; brothers, Gene Padgett of Walterboro, Gerald Padgett and his wife Lisa of Walterboro, George Padgett and his wife Theresa of Walterboro, and Clyde Padgett of Beaufort; and sister, Gail Padgett Prescott of Walterboro.  He was preceded in death by two sisters, Lillie Padgett Broach and Margaret Padgett Bonds.

Graveside funeral services will be held 11 o’clock, Tuesday morning, September 11, 2018 at Glendale Memorial Cemetery, 2210 Mount Carmel Road, Walterboro.
