Biography
Mr. Richard Alan Taylor, 46, of Ruffin, entered into eternal rest Thursday, December 8, 2011 at Colleton Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm, Sunday, December 11, 2011 at Shiloh Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Mr. Taylor was born November 22, 1965 and was a son of Mendel and Venita Iriel Martin. He was a dedicated employee of 8 years at Walterboro Do It Best as a mechanic. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing and was a member of Bailey Hunting Club. He will always be remembered for the deep love he possessed for his family and the generosity he showed toward his friends.
Surviving are: his parents of Ruffin; his wife, Kimberly Keller Taylor of Ruffin; son, Brandon Dunn; brothers, Timothy Taylor and his wife Pam of Ruffin, Ron Martin and his wife Jennifer of Ruffin, Steven Martin and his wife Michele of St. Petersburg, Florida and Robert Martin of St. Petersburg, Florida; nephews, Grayson Martin and Shane Roberts; and a niece, Bridgett Carson. He was preceded in death by a sister Valarie Martin.
