Mr. Richard Wayne "Bootsy" Landry, 80, of Moncks Corner, entered into rest Monday morning, September 22, 2025, at the Veteran’s Victory House in Walterboro. He was the loving husband of the late Mrs. Dorothy Felter Landry.

Born November 23, 1944 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, he was a son of the late Lewis Paul Landry and the late Marie Sampson Landry. He served faithfully in the United Sates Navy and was a retired butcher.

He was the father of David, Nicole, and Lisa; and is survived by Dorothy’s children, Marty Smith, Billi Elliott, and Jody Reine. He was preceded in death by a step-daughter, Tania Smoaks.

Funeral services with military honors will be conducted at 2 o’clock Wednesday afternoon, September 24, 2025, from the graveside in Evergreen Memorial Park, 802 North Guignard Drive, Sumter, South Carolina.
