Mr. Richard Theodore Beach, 72, of Walterboro, passed away Friday, November 18, 2016, at The Hospice Center of Charleston.
A memorial service for family and friends will be held at 11 am, Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Chapel, Walterboro, with a time of visitation following the service.
Born July 14, 1944 in Walterboro, he was a son of the late Theodore and Sadie Beach. He was a retired supervisor from Asten-Hill in Walterboro, and was also the owner and operator of Beach Construction in Walterboro. He served his country in the South Carolina Army National Guard. He was also an avid hunter.
Surviving are: his wife, Dians Kerr Sharp of Walterboro; children, Timmy Beach of Walterboro and Tammy Peters of Walterboro; step children, Lucinda Shaffer of Walterboro and Tim Sharp of Mount Pleasant; grandchildren, Tanner Crosby, Kayleigh Peters, Pete Peters, and Emily Beach; step grandchildren, Atlanta Therrell, Caroline Sharp, and Courtney Sharp; step great grandchildren, Avery, Angel, and Keenan; and his beloved dog, “Buddy”. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 1 sister.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hospice Center of Charleston.
