Mrs. Renee Kirby Bennett, 52, of Varnville, entered into eternal rest Friday morning, March 1, 2024, at Beaufort Memorial Hospital.

Born November 8, 1971, in Huntington Beach, California, she was a daughter of Carolyn Silva Kirby and the late Frank Kirby.  She was the secretary for the Hampton County Building Inspector.  Renee was a faithful and active member of Deep Branch Baptist Church.  At her beloved church, she served as the WMU Director and loved participating in the Blessing Bags Appalachian Ministry.  She was also a member of the Deep Branch Women’s Softball Team and loving playing first base.

Surviving are: her husband, Leon Miles Bennett of Varnville; her mother, Carolyn Kirby; children, Miles Clark Bennett and Emily Rose Bennett; brother, Robert Kirby; and sister Karen Kirby.  She was preceded in death by a brother, Clark Kirby; and a sister, Laura Kirby Frankenhouse.

A memorial service will be held 11 o’clock, Saturday, March 9, 2024, at Deep Branch Baptist Church, 134 Deep Branch Road, Varnville.  The family will receive friends following the service.
