Renea Padgett

Mrs. Paula Renea Padgett, age 53, of Walterboro, entered into rest Friday evening, October 7, 2016, at Landmark Hospital in Athens, Georgia following an extended illness.
Funeral services will be conducted 1 o’clock Saturday afternoon, October 15, 2016, from The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Chapel, Walterboro. Interment will follow in Live Oak Cemetery, South Jefferies Boulevard, Walterboro.
Born May 23, 1963, in Walterboro, she was a daughter of the late Troy Ackerman and the late Sandra Smith Jervis and Major Jervis. She had an Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice and was a member of the Walterboro Church of God. She worked in data processing and will always be remembered for the love she possessed for her family, as well as the talent she had as a great southern cook.
Surviving are: three sons, Jason Herndon and his wife Sara, Sterling Padgett, and Zachary Padgett all of Walterboro; a sister, Shidawn Jervis Carter (Cliff Green) of Walterboro; four grandchildren, Noah, Hunter, Savannah, and Isabelle; a nephew, Diego Carter; and a niece, Deianeira Carter. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Jeffery Scott Herndon; a granddaughter, Scarlet Herndon; and her grandparents, Thomas Ed and Eurelle Smith.
