WALTERBORO " Mrs. Reba Ellen Arp Rowe, age 85, of Walterboro, died Friday evening, May 9, 2008, at McCalls Hospice House in Simpsonville. She was the widow of Mr. Charles Henry Rowe.



Funeral services will be conducted 11 oclock Tuesday afternoon, May 13, 2008, from The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Chapel, Walterboro with The Reverend Dr. Randy Gardner and The Reverend Bud Summers officiating. Interment will follow at 2 oclock Wednesday afternoon, May 14, 2008, in Highland Memorial Park, 5315 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, Tennessee.



Mrs. Rowe was born June 16, 1922, in Madisonville, Tennessee and was a daughter of the late Clabron Arp and the late Harriett Adaline Tyler Arp. She was a retired housekeeper from Holiday Inn and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Walterboro.



Surviving are: a daughter, Barbara Barnes and her husband Robert of Simpsonville. She had three grandchildren, and of those she is survived by Bob Barnes of Santee and Greg Barnes of Gainesville, Georgia; nine great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren; as well as a special nephew Harold Arp and his wife Marie of Maryville, Tennessee. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Susan Ellen Willis and a sister, Estie White.
