Raymond Lambert, Jr

Mr. Raymond Hollis Lambert, Jr., 62, of Ruffin, entered into his eternal rest Thursday morning, April 12, 2012, at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston.
Funeral services will be conducted 11 o'clock Saturday morning, April 14, 2012, from the First United Pentecostal of Walterboro, 639 South Jefferies Blvd, Walterboro, with The Reverend Gordon R. Mullen, Jr., The Reverend Allen P. McGahan, and The Reverend John Bigelow officiating. Interment will follow in Glendale Memorial Cemetery, 2210 Mount Carmel Road, Walterboro.
The family will receive friends beginning at 10 o'clock Saturday morning in the sanctuary of the church.
Mr. Lambert was born April 17, 1950, in Brockton, Massachusetts, and was a son of Mrs. Grace Farwell Cords and the late Raymond Hollis Lambert, Sr. He worked in construction and was also an automobile body painter. He was a member of the First United Pentecostal of Walterboro where he was active in many aspects of the church's work to include a Sunday School teacher, but most especially he will be remembered for his love and devotion to playing the guitar for Worship services. He possessed a true joy in music through the guitar and had taught several young people the skill of playing the instrument. He was also an avid model airplane enthusiast.
Surviving in addition to his mother of Brockton, Massachusetts are: his daughters, Jennifer Weiner of Lakeville, Massachusetts and Monica Lambert of Hampton, south Carolina.
