Raymond Iriel

Mr. Raymond Lee Iriel, 58, of Lowcountry Highway, Ruffin, entered into eternal rest Sunday, December 25, 2011 at his residence.

Funeral services will be held at 10 am, Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at Shiloh Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Mr. Iriel was born June 24, 1953 in Colleton County and was a son of the late Hugo Iriel and Grace Smoak Iriel. He was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church, where he was an honorary Deacon. His favorite pastime was watching wrestling, but most of all, he loved and cared deeply for his family.

Surviving are: his brothers and sisters, Inez Miller and her husband Ken of Piney Flats, Tennessee, Marie Reynolds of Lubbock, Texas, Whaley Iriel and his wife Ann of Walterboro, Venita Martin and her husband Mendel of Ruffin, Roy Iriel and his wife Cheryl of Ruffin and Lois Ackerman and her husband Newman of Ruffin; many nieces and nephews; and several great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Iriel.
