Mr. Ralph Rendle Kinard, Sr., 77, of Red Bird Lane, Walterboro, entered into eternal rest Sunday, February 7, 2010 at UniHealth Post Acute Care of the Lowcountry in Estill.



Funeral services will be conducted 11 oclock Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Home, Walterboro. Interment will follow in Evergreen Christian Church Cemetery.



Mr. Kinard was born July 15, 1932 in Colleton County and was a son of the late Ornamus Brantley Kinard and Lula Mae Carson Kinard. He was a retired sub-contractor and served his country faithfully in the Army National Guard. He was a devoted member of Evergreen Christian Church, where he was an assistant Sunday School Teacher and Deacon, and was a past member of the Gideons International, Walterboro Camp. An avid fisherman, hunter and farmer, he will be fondly remembered for his love of the outdoors, but especially his love for working in his garden and sharing the fruits of his labor generously.



Surviving are: his wife: Margie Elaine Hiers Kinard of Walterboro; daughter, Margie Elaine Bazzle and her husband Arnold of Walterboro; son, Ralph Rendle Kinard, Jr. of Walterboro; brother, Clyde Kinard of Ruffin; sisters, Mary Ellen Kinard Carter of Hunters Chapel and Anne Padgett of Ruffin; several grandchildren; and several great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by brothers, Wayne Kinard and Vernon Kinard; and sisters, Idalia Morris and Sadie Ulmer.
