Philippe David Boucher

Mr. Philippe David Boucher, 61, of Walterboro, entered into rest Saturday afternoon, August 19, 2017, at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston.
Born April 23, 1956 in Manchester, New Hampshire, he was one of six children born to the late Woodrow Peter Boucher and the late Yvette Florina Lesmerises Boucher. Philippe had been living on the river at Prices Bridge Lane, Walterboro since the late 1980’s. He served in the United States Air Force. Philippe was a graduate of the Culinary Arts Institute of America and also received his Bachelor’s degree from Southern Illinois University, he retired form Trident Technical College, where he was a Culinary Arts Instructor and also a software trainer for the Information Technology Training Center. He took great pleasure in teaching and was truly committed to excellent food preparation and presentation. He was a very talented chef.
Philippe’s ashes will be spread at the Ashepoo Sand Bars on Sunday morning, August 27, 2017, at 11 o’clock. A Memorial Celebration of his life will follow that afternoon at 3 o’clock at the home of Phyllis Myers.
