Biography

Mrs. Paulette Crosby Funderburk, 65, of Cypress Pond Road entered into her eternal rest after a courageous two year battle with cancer on Wednesday, March 21, 2012, at the Hospice Center of Charleston. She was the wife of the late Wayne Funderburk.

Funeral services will be held 11;AM Saturday, March 24, 2012, in the Chapel of the Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Home with the Rev. Bob Johnson and the Rev. Ken Jernigan officiating.

Mrs. Funderburk was born October 11, 1946 in Wetumpka, Alabama and was a daughter of the late James O. Little and Peggy Little Bailey. She was an office manager with Gilbert Law Firm in Beaufort, SC. She was a member of Doctor's Creek Baptist Church. She was an avid South Carolina Gamecock and Alabama fan and nascar fan. She loved crocheting and boating.

Surviving are; daughters, Angela Hiott and her husband Pat and Paula Dantzler and her husband Kevin both of Walterboro, sisters, Irene Walker and Jimmie Kittrell both of Walterboro and grandchildren, James and Joshua Hiott, K.J., Jonathan and Kayla Dantzler. She was predeceased by a brother, James O. Little, Jr. and a sister, Connie Gantt.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Hope Lodge, 269 Calhoun Street, Charleston, SC 29401 and Hospice of Charleston, 676 Wando Park Blvd., Mt. Pleasant, SC 29464.
