Mr. Paul Orban Estep, Sr., 75, of Candler, North Carolina, died Sunday morning, December 14, 2008, at the Veterans Nursing Home in Ashville, North Carolina.
Funeral services will be conducted 11 oclock Wednesday morning, December 17, 2008, from The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Chapel, Walterboro. Interment will follow in Jordan Cemetery, Cottageville.
Mr. Estep was born March 3, 1933, in Laredo, West Virginia and was a son of the late Russell O. Estep and the late Donnie Workman Estep. He was a retired operator and dispatcher from the railroad industry and served his country faithfully in the United States Army. He was of the Non-Denominational Faith.
Surviving are: his wife, Mrs. Nancy Hoff Estep; a son, Paul O. Estep, Jr. of Cloverdale, Indiana; two daughters, Gladys Black of Matthews, Indiana and Juanita Sue Lambson of Kokomo, Indiana; two brothers, James Estep of Salt Rock, West Virginia and Carmie Estep of Oceana, West Virginia; thirteen grandchildren; and thirteen great grandchildren.
