Paul Raven

Mr. James Paul Raven, age 54, entered into rest in July of 2026 at his beloved home in the Historic District of Walterboro.

Born September 24, 1971, in Marietta, Georgia, he was a son of Mr. George Arthur Raven and the late Mrs. Mary Jane Watson Raven. He served our country faithfully in the United States Navy during Desert Storm and was an employee of the culinary world, having worked a dedicated career in the restaurant industry. Paul possessed many wonderful talents, one of which was playing the piano. He was also a gifted horticulturist who spent countless hours tending to his flowers and gardens at home.

Surviving in addition to his father, Art and his wife, Nancy are: five siblings, Jeffrey David Raven, Amanda Raven Davis (Donnie), Matthew Arthur Raven (Sarah), The Honorable Debbie Wade (Richard), and The Reverend Dr. Zachary Masdon (Karalee) and several nieces and nephews.

No funeral services are planned at this time.
