Paul Prentiss Hiott, 51, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 31, 2021.
Mr. Hiott was born in Walterboro to the late Peter Prentiss Hiott and Edna Harriett Cummings Hiott. He was an alumnus of USC Salkehatchie and worked for USIC Locating Services, Inc. Paul enjoyed hunting, fishing, and cooking on the grill. He cherished his Blue Healer dogs Ben, Jr., Old Momma, and Smokey.
Surviving are a brother, Harold “Butch” Robbins, Jr.; two sisters, Monica Martin and Missy O’Quinn and husband Dan; three nephews; Joe Martin, Eric Robbins, and Patrick Peters; and a niece, Marissa O’Quinn. He was predeceased by a brother-in-law, Joe Martin; and a beloved Blue Healer, Ben Sr.
A Celebration of Paul’s Life will be at 12 noon Saturday at Brice W. Herndon & Sons Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Live Oak Cemetery. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.
