Mr. Paul Sanders Drawdy, III, 53, of Walterboro, entered into eternal rest Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at Colleton Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held 11 am, Saturday, November 19, 2011 at The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Home, Walterboro Chapel. Interment will follow in Live Oak Cemetery.
Mr. Drawdy was born June 18, 1958 in Walterboro and was a son of Sarah Kinsey Drawdy Reeves and the late Paul S. Drawdy, Jr. He was a skidder operator and truck driver for Ferguson Forest Products, where he worked for 20 years. He was a dedicated employee who truly loved his job. He enjoyed fishing and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Boston Red Sox fan; and was also a NASCAR fan. Paul was a humble man with a big heart who loved his family and always put them first. He loved having his Sunday dinners with them and spending anytime he could with his children and grandchildren.
Surviving are: his mother and step father, Sarah and Dan Reeves of Walterboro; wife, Stacey Mansell Drawdy of Walterboro; children, Paul S. "Sandy" Drawdy, IV of Walterboro and Krystal Drawdy of Walterboro; sisters, Melanie Drawdy of Walterboro and Becky Conner and her husband Jeff of New Orleans, LA; grandchildren, Kayla, Jeremy and Lindsay; step children, Kevin Jonathan Wynn of Walterboro and Chelsey Grace Wynn of Walterboro; step grandchildren, Andrew, Jordan and Jenesis; and nephews, Dalton Drawdy and his wife Ashley of Moncks Corner, Taylor Drawdy and his wife Brittany of Walterboro and John Conner of New Orleans, LA. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Melinda Lea Drawdy and a grandmother, Inez Strickland.
