Patricia Dilling

Mrs. Patricia Jane Dilling, 95, of Ehrhardt, entered into eternal rest Monday morning, November 27, 2023, at her residence. She was the wife of the late Clyde Eugene Dilling.

Born January 4, 1928, in Albert Lea, Minnesota, she was a daughter of the late Ole Sorenson and Martha Evarts Sorenson.  She was a member of Mount Pleasant Evangelical Lutheran Church.  Mrs. Pat loved crocheting, stitching and was especially known for all of the prayer shawls she knitted for cancer patients.  She enjoyed camping, baking and was an avid fan of the Minnesota Vikings.  She dearly loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Surviving are: her son, Kimm Eugene Dilling and his wife Vickie of Ridgeville; grandchildren, Chad Dilling and his wife ReNee, Melissa Dilling, and Aaron Dilling and his wife Tabitha; great grandchildren, Tylor Kinard (Kayla), Shayla Kinard, Chad Dilling, Jr. (Amber), Mary Dilling, Addison Dilling, Gunner Dilling, and Gracie Dilling Woods; great great grandchildren, Layton Kinard, Braylynn Kinard and Lilith Estis; and a special niece, Jean Rivers and her husband John.  She was preceded in death by a son, Thomas Eugene Dilling; and her siblings, June Sorenson Persons, Cyler Sorenson, Evarts Sorenson, and Ardis Holte Sorenson.

The family would especially like to thank those who cared for Mrs. Pat during her illness: Mickey Ryan, who was her faithful caregiver and became her best friend, Claudia, Anna, Kelly, DeeDee and Agape Hospice.

Funeral services will be held 11 o’clock, Saturday morning, December 9, 2023, at Mount Pleasant Evangelical Lutheran Church, Mount Pleasant Church Road, Ehrhardt.
