Ottie Rizer

Mrs. Ottie Lee Ramsey Rizer, 91, of 1179 Hilton Hall Lane, Walterboro, died Thursday afternoon, November 27, 2008, at Heritage Health Care in Walterboro.



Funeral services will be conducted 10 oclock Saturday morning, November 29, 2008 from the graveside in Glendale Memorial Cemetery, 2210 Mount Carmel Road, Walterboro with The Reverend Wayne Lucas officiating.



Mrs. Rizer was born October 1, 1917, in Williams, South Carolina and was a daughter of the late Wilfred Adam Ramsey and the late Minnie Marie Warren Ramsey. She was a member of Good Sheppard Evangelical Lutheran Church and was a retired clerk from Edwards Five and Ten in Walterboro. She will be remembered for the love she possessed for her grandchildren.



Surviving are: her only living child, Ruth Rizer and her friend Johnny Nettles of Walterboro; a daughter-in-law, Mickie Rizer of Bennetts Point; grandchildren, Allen Butler and his wife Suzanne of Walterboro, Jody Butler of Walterboro, Allison Stanley and her husband Mark of Green Pond, Amanda Lyons and her husband Marion of Smoaks, Scott Rizer and his wife Scarlett of Ruffin, Derrick Rizer and his wife Jennifer of Bennetts Point, and Dwayne Rizer of Alabama; as well as great grandchildren, Tucker, Carson Bailee, Austin, Kennedy, Hunter, Allen Joseph, Jeremiah, Diana, and Lil Derrick; and also several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three sons, Gary Rizer, Allen Rizer, and Homer Rizer; and a grandchild, David Rizer.
