Omar Khadam

Omar Khadam, age 27, of Brandon Court in Walterboro, entered into rest Sunday afternoon, March 22, 2015, at the Colleton Medical Center in Walterboro following injuries sustained during an automobile accident in Colleton County.

Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of his life which will be conducted 6 o’clock Thursday afternoon, March 26, 2015, from The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Chapel, Walterboro.

The family will receive friends following the funeral ceremony until 8 o’clock that evening in the Harbiston Stateroom of the Morturary.

Born November 10, 1987, a native of Freehold, New Jersey.  He served in the United States Air Force having been stationed in Louisana.   Omar’s life revolved around his family, friends, and cars.  He was a well known and talented automobile and diesel engine mechanic.  When someone he knew needed something, he was quick to drop what he was doing and rush to their rescue.  He will always be rememerbed for his love and dedication to others, his never ending smile, and his quick wit and humor.  Not only did Omar love cars, he enjoyed racing, and spending time on ATV’s.   Omar was raised a Roman Catholic and was a member of Saint Anthony Roman Catholic Church.

Surviving are: his mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Fernandes and her husband, Michael Kinneary of Walterboro; two sons, Aaron Abel Khadam and Alex Anthony Khadam and their mother, Argenia Vaughan; his fiance, Sandra Nicole Kittrell and her children, Justin Lane DeLoach, Harleigh Danielle DeLoach, and Donovan Chase DeLoach; and a brother, Shariq “Jersey” Khadam of Walterboro.  He is also survived  by his maternal grandfather, Abel Fernandes of Puerto Rico; an uncle, Abel Fernandes; and an aunt, Annamarie Passman.
