Mr. Olin Dee Varnadoe, 77, of Walterboro, entered into rest Monday morning, March 31, 2014, at Colleton Place in Walterboro.
Funeral services will be conducted 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon, April 3, 2014, from The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Chapel, Walterboro. Interment will follow on the family plot in Williams Cemetery.
Born March 8, 1937, a native and lifelong resident of Colleton County, he was a son of the late Henry Willis Varnadoe and the late Nettie Lee Crosby Varnadoe. Mr. Varnadoe was employed by Westinghouse in Hampton, South Carolina where after thirty years of faithful and dedicated service retired as a press operator. He will be fondly remembered for his avid love of fishing the fresh water creeks of Colleton County as well as hunting.
Surviving are: two brothers, Kenneth Varnadoe of Ruffin and James David Varnadoe of St Stephens. There are numerous nieces and nephews that also survive to include Susan Varnadoe Rumfelt.
