Nora Folk

Mrs. Annie Lenora “Nora” Lyons Folk, 87, of Bamberg, entered into eternal rest Thursday evening, April 28, 2022 at her residence.

Born June 29, 1934 in Colleton County, she was a daughter of the late Walter Dewey Lyons and Susie Myers Lyons. Nora dearly loved the Lord and was the longest serving member of Ehrhardt Southern Methodist Church.  She loved her family and expressed her love for them constantly.  She was an inspiration to everyone she met.  She enjoyed reading, working in her yard and taking care of her cats.

Surviving are: her children, Annette Jarrell (Tommy), James Michael “Mike” Folk (Kim), and Peggy Lynn Folk; grandchildren, Amy Roberts (Mike), Rachael Mixson (Lee), Tonya McBride (Scott), Jamie Folk (Sherry), Tammy Hendricks (Danny), Angela Gable (Phil), and Mandy Leopard; great grandchildren, Micala Brewer (Joseph), Madison Ginn (Josh), Travis Mixson, Cooper Mixson, Madison Jackson (Brandon), Cooper McBride, Jaxon McBride, Tatum McBride, Kamden Folk, Brandon Hendricks, Tyler Phillips, Brandon Padgett, and Bryson Leopard; great great grandchildren, Trevor Ray Jackson and Ellie Kate Brewer; and siblings, Emmie Sue Hodges (James), Nancy Smith (Ben), Walter Marion Lyons (Connie).  She was preceded in death by her brothers, George Lyons, Wilfred Lyons, Dowling Lyons, Cooledge Lyons, Joe Traxler, Howard Lyons, and Bobby Dean Lyons; and her sister, Gloria Bhagchandani.

Graveside funeral services will be held 2 o’clock, Sunday afternoon, May 1, 2022 at Ehrhardt Cemetery, Mount Pleasant Road, Ehrhardt.
