Nora H. Driver

Nora H. Driver, 77, of Walterboro, SC., entered into eternal rest Monday, October 16, 2023 at her residence. Nora was born August 14, 1946 in Colleton County to the late Carsie E. Hiott and Jessie Mae Smoak Hiott.

Known as "The Tax Lady" who wrote strongly worded letters, she is lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Eric Irvin, Daniel Irvin, and Summer Irvin; a sister, Carol Jones; a nephew, Earl Dickert and seven great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Nora is preceded in death by her husband of 27 years, Jack Driver; her son, Eric Irvin; and a brother, Carsie Hiott, Jr.

Services for Nora will be held 10 o'clock Saturday, October 21, 2023 at Glendale Memorial Gardens, 2210 Mount Carmel Rd, Walterboro, SC 29488.
