Mr. Noble Bruce Timmons, Jr., 54, of Walterboro, entered into his state of eternal rest Monday morning, November 30, 2009, at his residence following an extended illness.



Funeral services will be conducted 2 oclock Thursday afternoon, December 3, 2009 from the graveside at Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery, 6869 Parkers Ferry Road, Adams Run, with The Reverend Naveen Balakrishnan officiating.



Mr. Timmons was born September 4, 1955, in Charleston and was a son of the late Noble Bruce Timmons, Sr. and the late Mildred Leona Weaver Timmons. He was a retired owner/operator truck driver for over thirty years and was of the Baptist faith. He will be remembered for his love of camping, fishing, and riding his three wheel motorcycle. He possessed a great love of spending time with people and having family and friends over for cookouts and fellowship.



Surviving are: his wife, Mrs. Holly Vance Timmons; a son, Eric Bruce Timmons and his wife Jean of Ruffin; a brother, Benjamin Timmons of Cottageville; and five sisters, Elaine Rudd and her husband Marion of Charleston, Pauline Hill of Ridgeville, Eulalia Postell and her husband Bill of Ravenel, Linda Joyce Timmons of Charleston, and Ruth Morris and her husband Mike of Ravenel. There are two grandchildren, which were the loves of his life, Noah and Anna Timmons that also survive.
