Nina Wright

September 6, 1942 — July 4, 2011

Mrs. Nina Peeples Wright, 68, entered into her eternal rest, Wednesday, July 4, 2011 at Baptist Memorial Hospital Memphis after a year long battle with cancer.

Nina was born on September 6, 1942 in Savannah, Georgia. She grew up in Hampton, South Carolina where she was a graduate of Wade Hampton High School. She attended Columbia College and was a graduate of the University of Memphis. She was preceded in death by her father Mr. Earl Freeman Peeples and the late Mrs. Marjorie Sanders Peeples, originally known as Peeples Funeral Service who was one of the first funeral homes in the state of South Carolina - a well known heritage about family.

The finalized details are still not all complete while members of the immediate are arriving. The family wishes for her funeral ceremony to be held 10 o'clock Saturday morning, July 9, 2011, from All Saints Episcopal Church, 511 Jackson Avenue East, Hampton. Interment will follow in the family plot at Hampton Cemetery, Holly Street East, Hampton.

She is survived by her sons, Bradley Clarke Wright and Andrew Douglas Wright of Memphis and good friends Charles and Jan Wright. (others to be announced when service arrangements are complete)

Flowers will be accepted at the funeral home and carried to their respective places as desired.

The BRICE W. HERNDON AND SONS FUNERAL HOMES, VARNVILLE-HAMPTON CHAPEL 1074 Yemassee Highway in Varnville has been asked by the Peeples and Wright family to handle arrangements.
